‘IN THE MOMENT’
This abstract mixed media painting is part of the 10th Anniversary at the Mid Wales Arts Centre. The theme is from a poem The Bright Field by Welsh poet R.S.Thomas. I was inspired to submit this painting ‘In the moment’ because of the interpretation I read about the poem by the author Emily Ardagh who said “The Bright Field speaks about those shining moments in life…..”
Completed site-specific drawing installation
This shows the progress of my large scale drawing that I created along side my show OUTSIDE IN at the Wyeside gallery. It wraps around the bar area and is part of my EMBRACING SPACES SERIES.
Pastels in Action at Wyeside
I will be in the gallery this Saturday (November 18th) from 2.30pm on-wards. Where I will be adding to a large drawing as part of the gallery corner installation, this is part of my ongoing ’embracing spaces’ series.
Drawing now in a Column in a Corner at the Wyeside
A new large scale drawing created on Saturday in the gallery celebrating the Big Draw October’s International Festival of Drawing. With thanks to Tony Thorp of the mid-Wales geology club who inspired this drawing by introducing me to PITCHSTONE – a volcanic glass.
‘Wyeside Corner Space INTERVENTION’

GALLERY CORNER Wyeside
